In 1989 several friends joined together and we put some of our spare funds into buying a closed-down, dilapidated old building to see if it could be saved. It was renovated and reopened. What was supposed to be a one-shop rescue experiment developed into an accidental success and as of 2024 has passed the 50-shop milestone and 203 new jobs.
