n January 2025, forty years after the first project was completed, a friend added up all of the adventures that were inspired from one place, from an island sanctuary.

A very harsh personnel officer at Strathclyde Police told our managing director he was “unemployably disabled” and “best get used to the new daytime television.” To which that human resources Amadan received the rejoinder: “Aye Right.” (Glaswegian for no thankyou).
The next 28 years saw projects such as this managed, albeit with certain adaptations as required by a person with disabilities. It is worth pointing out that people who are disabled, often end up as good problem-solvers. That is out of necessity. Try getting a wheelchair up a flight of stairs in a bank building (for example) that has no facilities for people with spinal damage.
Though most folk do have compassion and empathy. We know this as fact. There are 111 active shareholders within our (former) Argyll Group plc network (currently 9 projects/companies).
Specifically 8 shareholders of this Scotslion Ltd., company, all of whom have helped create those 203 new jobs and enabled 81 shut/closed/derelict buildings to be renovated.

as for safety, the mobile phones are switched OFF whilst driving. We always return messages left via text. This is done once we arrive at the destination and the mobile phone is switched back on. However, the older of the mobile devices is 11 years of age and drops the occasional text.

Social Media Page ~ Please Note: Each renovation project has a dedicated and ring-fence limited liability company from start to finish. This is the gold-standard of corporate structure. Why? Because Companies House maintain an open-source registry that is publicly available, online, 24 hours per day.
The Companies House protocol of openness ensures that policies we insist upon, such a ban on mortgages at any of our buildings with 100% of our projects being owned by the members’ can be independently checked, via the Companies House website.
Focussing back onto our social media page as above linked, whilst each limited company within our network is separate for project-management and accounting purposes, our shareholder base do tend spread their ownership across a selection of companies (but all in a different and unique way). Hence no “group” accounts as this would not work in our structure.
But, the social media aspect of such a diverse portfolio makes it far more sensible to have just ONE social media account (Facebook is our preferred platform ~ though sometimes we do place items on Instagram + Twitter platforms).
