Meanwhile, preparations are being made for sea-tours based out of Sannox Hotel, and emergency backup for when the min ferry has broken down. MV Lochmor is a Class IIa ferry which is the same Class as the MV Isle of Arran. So MV Lochmor is most capable of ferrying up to 180 passengers back and forth to the mainland, as well as touring the local islands.
=> Why no other hotel on the Island of Arran has not yet done this is a mystery to us.
